FYI.For memories you want to keep forever, or to get your clients a tangible look at your work, printing your images becomes a must-do. But I have found this printer much more finicky and tough to use than people who probably use it in a more proper studio or office setting. ![]() I've done head balancing, test prints, etc, but when I'm printing with good Canon Lustre paper, I can only print one sheet at a time, and it takes several attempts to get the printer to grab the paper. I tried several options before settling on an unused bookcase with four heavy sandbags placed on it to keep it solid while the printer works. Because of the printer's size, it needs a VERY solid base to sit on or you get blurry prints because the printer moves around while the carriage plunks back and forth. As per usual, there's no way to bypass a spent cartridge. I don't print anywhere close to what other people have said, and I just had to start replacing cartridges far earlier than I thought I would. The ink seems to be on a timer, rather than on how much is used. Some people use this printer wirelessly, but I can't/don't, and I had to buy a cable to make it work. Not a good printer for someone who lives alone or has a bad back. There are definitely things you should be aware of before buying: Printer works well, and makes nice prints. I bought one of these on the B&H Christmas deal.
